If SYQEL isn’t detecting your audio source, follow these steps to quickly resolve the issue.

Step-by-Step Fixes

1. Make sure audio is playing

SYQEL only detects apps that are actively producing sound.

âś… Start playback before clicking Refresh

2. Click Refresh

New audio sources won’t appear automatically.

âś… Click Refresh after starting playback

3. Restart the app you’re using

Sometimes the audio session needs to reset.

âś… Close and reopen Spotify (or your app), then try again

4. Restart SYQEL

Refreshing the app can resolve detection issues.

5. Check system audio output

Make sure your system is using a valid audio input device.

6. Try another app

This helps determine if the issue is app-specific.

When Everything Is Working

You should:

  • See the app listed after clicking Refresh
  • Be able to select it immediately
  • See visuals respond in real time
