Connecting to MIDI

Mapping key-binds to MIDI inputs is a great way to control SYQEL on the fly.

In order to do so:

1. Connect your MIDI device to your Mac.
2. Then allow access.
3. Then you should be able to see a “Connected” status appear under the MIDI option.
4. Then click on the remap key for each key-bind you would like to map. Once you have done that the app will be listening to your MIDI input, so select the key you would like to bind and click it once.
5. You will see a new MIDI key is assigned to that input.
6. The app will automatically save your setting.

After you have mapped your inputs, you will be able to go back to the visualizer and test your new MIDI key-bind!
